2 Free Drama Workshops

2 Free acting & drama workshops for young people are being hosted by Class Act Drama Centre. All training will be provided by professional actors and directors from within the industry. The opportunity is available from the beginning of October until the end of November 2016. Each candidate is entitled to 3 hours worth of technique and acting training with professionals. The opportunity to attend free workshops is available at participating venues ( please see table below ) Those attending the workshops will also be entitled to priority opportunities with enrolment.

Terms & Conditions

Places are subject to availability and cannot be offered to existing or former members. Workshops can only be taken by those candidates who have completed an application form. No cash alternative for classes is available. Each workshop is 1.5 hours in length and held weekly. Each candidate is entitled to 2 weeks worth of free tuition totaling 3 hours. A candidate can take as many or as few workshops as they prefer in this period providing they communicate their intended attendance to the allocated tutor. Places cannot be swapped to a third party without the express permission of the tutor. Candidates can take their 3 hour allocation across a selection of venues should they prefer. Places are available for young people aged 6 to 17 years of age. If you are unable to participate after your place has been confirmed we would appreciate it if you could inform us so that we can offer the place to another candidate.

2 free classes per individual applicant only.

Offer only available at select venues and will be offered on a first come first served basis. Whilst every attempt will be made to accommodate all applicants some classes may have limited space.

Our Tutors

All of our tutors are highly experienced and are professional actors and directors who have a wealth of experience within the industry. All of our tutors are members of Equity the actor’s union and are qualified to postgraduate level with higher degrees. All of our teaching staff remain connected to the industry and direct a minimum of 3 shows a year for Class Act and are fully CRB/DBS checked.
September Enrolment
Those candidates wishing to enroll in September and to become a member in the group they are attending can ask their tutor for further information in class or they can email for further details. All groups will begin to work upon allocated shows in September, current adapted shows that are scheduled for 2016 are :

Oliver, Grease, Blood Brothers, The Witches, Bugsy Malone, Alice in Wonderland, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, When Santa Lost his Beard.

Please ask your tutor which show they intend to be working on should this be of interest to you. Enrolment commences on the 3rd of September 2016.
