A chance to work with professional actors and directors from within the industry for an intensive week of acting training.
An opportunity to perform in an optional presentation or prepare monologues or rehearsed scenes for show reel footage.

What to bring
There are facilities onsite to purchase food and drinks throughout the day and at lunchtime. We would also suggest bringing a notepad and pen and to consider comfortable clothing that you can move freely in and soft soled footwear.
The Presentation- Optional
An informal presentation of a prepared piece of work such as a monologue or scripted piece will be performed on the final day to an invited audience. If you would prefer a recording of your work can be filmed for show reel footage. All monologue and scripted pieces will be provided at the start of the week's course and are royalty free and provided by our scriptwriters who have licensed their work for you to use as audition pieces and within recorded footage. Footage can be recorded via your own recording equipment which staff are happy to operate should you require.

Terms & Conditions
1.Payment- To secure a place a non refundable deposit of £50 is required at the time of booking.
2.Cancellation- Deposits are non-returnable. However should you have paid in full and need to cancel your place and a refund minus your deposit will only be given if a place is cancelled in writing 5 days prior to the workshop commencing : Studio One R009 The Custard Factory, Gibb Street, Digbeth, Birmingham, B9 4BF
3.Special Circumstances- In the event of illness a refund minus your deposit will be considered by our head office which would need to be submitted in writing with an accompanying doctor's certificate : Studio One R009 The Custard Factory, Gibb Street, Digbeth, Birmingham, B9 4BF
4.Behaviour- We expect a certain level of behaviour on our courses and foster an environment of mutual respect. If an individual is disruptive, verbally abusive to a teacher or another participant on a repeated basis and does not display improved behaviour they will be asked to leave. Under these circumstances refunds will not be given.
5.Permission- By taking part in the Bootcamp course permission is granted to use photographs taken during the workshops and images of participants used on this website and or local press and social media channels.
6.Viability- Class Act has a limited maximum number of people that it can accept onto any course, likewise there is also a minimum amount of people that makes any course viable. It is at a tutors discretion whether or not a workshop runs. In the event of a workshop not being able to run due to circumstances beyond our control a full refund will be made including your deposit within 14 working days. Bookings must be made and fully paid for by the 18th of September 2016.
7. No shows- Unless we have been formally contacted as per our cancellation and special circumstances terms outlined above 100% of the Bootcamp value will be charged due to the nature of staff preparation, materials, script writing and other resources dedicated to that place. This necessary step is also designed to make sure that places for other participants are not unduly wasted and staff ratios and staff salaries can be honoured, thus enabling the future of our courses and the booking of highly qualified staff.
